How To Put On Nipple Covers (Like A Pro)
By: Rachel Peng
Alright, let’s talk nipple covers. Whether you’re wearing a backless dress, a sheer top, or just want that smooth, seamless look under your outfit, these little lifesavers are essential! But, as with all good things, if you’ve ever struggled with them peeling off, shifting, or looking weird under your clothes, don’t worry—I got you.
Step 1: Start With Clean, Dry Skin
Nipple covers stick best on fresh skin, so skip the lotion, oils, or anything too hydrating in that area. If you're sweating, blot yourself dry first.
Pro tip: If you’re in a pinch and feel a little oily, a tiny dusting of setting powder can help!
Step 2: Peel & Position
Gently remove the backing and hold the cover by the edges—try not to touch the sticky part too much. Center it directly over your nipple and smooth it down, pressing outward to avoid wrinkles or bubbles.
Step 3: Secure & Adjust
Once it’s on, press down firmly for a few seconds to make sure it sticks. If it’s not looking right, carefully peel it off and reposition it—just don’t do this too many times, or the adhesive will lose its stickiness.
Step 4: Test the Hold
Before you head out, do a quick check! Move around, lift your arms, and see if it stays in place. If you're worried about sweat (or it's a long night out), opt for silicone covers over fabric ones—they hold up better. (And lucky you, our Apricotton ones are perfect!)
Step 5: Removal & Care
After a fun day, gently peel them off (don’t just rip them like a band-aid—ouch!). If they’re reusable (like our Apricotton ones), wash them with mild soap and let them air dry with the sticky side up.
And there you go—flawless, worry-free coverage! That outfit is waiting for you!
